Job Overview
Ride With Alliance is hiring Wheelchair Van Drivers to support riders who need accessible transportation. This role requires patience, careful securement, and a strong focus on rider comfort and safety.
You will operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles, assist riders during loading and unloading, and communicate with dispatch to keep scheduled medical trips running smoothly.
This position is ideal for drivers who want steady work, meaningful service, and the chance to support people with mobility needs every day.

What You'll Do

Transport wheelchair riders safely to medical appointments, therapy visits, dialysis centers, and care facilities.

Operate wheelchair ramps or lifts with care and follow all safety steps before every trip.

Secure wheelchairs using proper tie-downs and passenger restraint systems.

Assist riders from pickup location to vehicle and from vehicle to destination entrance.

Inspect wheelchair van equipment before each shift to confirm it is clean, safe, and working properly.

Communicate trip status, delays, and rider needs with dispatch in a timely manner.

Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for patient transportation.

Document pickup times, drop-off times, mileage, and trip notes accurately.
What You'll Need

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Experience driving vans or larger passenger vehicles preferred.

Ability to safely operate wheelchair lift or ramp equipment.

Must pass background check and drug screening.

Strong patience, professionalism, and care when assisting riders with mobility needs.

Ability to bend, stand, assist, and secure mobility equipment throughout the shift.

Smartphone with reliable data connection for dispatch and trip updates.

Wheelchair securement training preferred. Training can be provided.
